With our season now behind us, we eagerly anticipate the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for May 15th, 2024, at 7pm, to be held in the community hall at Clarence-Rockland arena (CIH).
The AGM marks the end-of-season event where executive members present reports on the concluded season. The meeting is open to the public.
At the AGM, we will disband the current committee and hold elections for a new board of volunteer members. Notably, the position of president is due for re-election. Presidential hopefuls should have at least two years of experience on a minor hockey executive committee. For those aiming to join the executive committee, there are two pathways:
1. Be present at the AGM to have your nomination proposed and seconded by other attendees, and then accept the nomination.
OR
2. If attendance is not possible, indicate your acceptance of a nomination by emailing Dominic Dupuis (president
rmha1@gmail.com) and Genevieve Arturi (
registrar@rockland-nats.ca) at least 48 hours before the AGM.
Please be aware that executive positions require significant time, commitment, a positive attitude, and above all, teamwork. We are looking for volunteers who are prepared to engage in monthly meetings and various events throughout the season, especially during the initial phase. Serving on the board offers immense satisfaction in many respects. Despite occasional challenges, the joy seen in the children's faces is always the greatest reward.

Notre saison étant maintenant derrière nous, nous attendons avec impatience l'assemblée générale annuelle (AGA) prévue le 15 mai 2024, à 19h, qui se tiendra à la salle communautaire de l'aréna Clarence-Rockland (CIH).
L'AGA marque l'événement de fin de saison au cours duquel les membres de l'exécutif présentent des rapports sur la saison terminée. La réunion est ouverte au public.
Lors de l'AGA, nous dissoudrons le comité actuel et organiserons des élections pour un nouveau conseil exécutif composé de membres bénévoles. Le poste de président doit notamment être réélu. Les candidats à la présidence doivent avoir au moins deux ans d'expérience au sein d'un comité exécutif de hockey mineur. Pour ceux qui souhaitent rejoindre le comité exécutif, deux voies s'offrent à eux :
1. Soyez présent à l'AGA pour que votre candidature soit proposée et appuyée par les autres participants, puis acceptez la candidature.
OU
2. Si la présence n'est pas possible, indiquez votre acceptation d'une nomination en envoyant un courriel à Dominic Dupuis (président
rmha1@gmail.com) et Geneviève Arturi (
registrar@rockland-nats.ca) au moins 48 heures avant l'AGA.
Sachez que les postes exécutifs nécessitent beaucoup de temps, d’engagement, une attitude positive et surtout un travail d’équipe. Nous recherchons des bénévoles prêts à participer à des réunions mensuelles et à divers événements tout au long de la saison, en particulier pendant la phase initiale. Faire partie du conseil d’administration offre une immense satisfaction à bien des égards. Malgré des difficultés occasionnelles, la joie visible sur les visages des enfants est toujours la plus grande récompense
